Health Insurance

The Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice has been accredited by some health insurance companies, including AXA, WPA and Aviva, for over 15 years. All of our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

We take great pride in collaborating with health insurance companies to offer their members exceptional physiotherapy care.

Using your private medical insurance is simple so long as you follow the steps below Please follow our step-by-step guide below.

If you plan to claim through your health insurance, we require your Policy number, Authorisation number and agreed number of sessions prior to booking an appointment.

To facilitate a smooth process, here is some important information:

AXA

Policy Number.

WPA

Please contact our reception team on 01295 257584 or email [email protected] and we can provide you with your individual physiotherapist registration numbers, so you can inform WPA.

Aviva

Please contact our reception team on 01295 257584 or email [email protected] as we can provide you with your individual physiotherapist registration numbers, so you can inform Aviva.

We occasionally work with third parties on request and agreement.

Others insurance companies:

In some cases, particularly if it is a relatively smaller insurance company, we will not have a specific registration number, but all our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) so we suggest you self-pay and we can provide an invoice and receipt on headed paper for you to claim back.

If you have any questions then please contact our Practice Manager, Hayley Boyles on 01295 257584 or email: [email protected].

Health insurance excess:

Most policies have an outpatient annual excess. Excesses are often £100, but can be more, this is subject to your specific policy. Please discuss with your insurance provider. Your insurance provider should be able to provide you with this information when you activate your request for treatment.

Due to Data Protection, we are unable to request this on your behalf and are currently not made aware of client excess deductions until they are applied to invoices that we send.

Your insurance company may also request us to obtain any excess payment. It is not uncommon for the insurer to reach out to you directly, before contacting us to provide updates on any excess payments that are due. They may request that you make the excess deduction payment directly to us.

Once we receive this information, we will promptly send you an invoice.

We kindly request your cooperation in settling the excess deduction payment promptly, as it covers the sessions that have already been conducted. Your timely response is greatly appreciated.

Please note as per your terms and conditions with your health insurance company and the Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice/Cassia Health, ultimately you are responsible for funding your treatment if there is any shortfall in your insurance, incorrect or out of date authorisation codes are provided or you go over your allocated sessions.

We eagerly anticipate your visit to the clinic and aim to assist you in your journey towards recovery.
