The Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice is known as a trusted, endorsed and reputable Musculoskeletal practice of Physiotherapists and sports therapists within the heart of the town of Banbury and the neighbouring geography of South Warwickshire and Oxfordshire.

Working seamlessly as a team or as standalone practitioners we offer traditional hands on therapy and expert rehabilitation for all types of Musculoskeletal and sports support

Sarah Baimbridge

Clinic Director of Physiotherapy and Specialist Physiotherapist

Qualifying in 1987 Sarah Baimbridge MCSP HCPC has extensive and specialist knowledge of MSK Conditions, post operative rehabilitation and trauma. She specialises in Hip pathology and Lumbar spine associated conditions

In her past career she has worked alongside other therapy professions and has clinical links to Consultants Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical colleagues in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.

Recently she has opened a new practice in Northamptonshire.

Taya Buehler

Sports Therapist and Soft tissue management specialist

Taya qualified in 2020 with a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy degree and has a keen interest in football and field sport injuries. She also holds a gym instructor REPs Level 2 qualification.

Taya has developed a community reputation for assessing and providing highly specialised therapy programs and works closely alongside Sarah Baimbridge supporting their clients with soft tissue services.

She is developing her clinical knowledge to envelop Clinical Pilates and hope to provide Pilates classes and 1:1 pilates for her clients within the practice in the future.

She has a specialist interest in pre and post marathon running soft tissue injuries and DOMS.

Marcus-Creagh

Marcus Creagh

Sports therapist and Pitchside rehabilitation

His Master's degree in sports science Marcus has been handed the baton to develop the pitchside support services for the Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice

He completed 3 years of Sports Therapy at Bournemouth University where he picked up Lacrosse as a sport and now works as a Sports Therapist with the England U20 Lacrosse team.

He completed his MSc Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation at AECC University College in Bournemouth. During that year he worked with the Armed Forces Hockey, Swanage and Wareham RFU and Bovington Royal Artillery Corps rugby team. His masters allowed him to explore new areas of therapy such as Cardiac Rehabilitation and supporting para and disabled athletes. Blade running prosthetics and para-athletes have been a big influence for getting into sport therapy after watching the 2012 Paralympics.

Stella Zhang

MSK Specialist Physiotherapist

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Stella completed both Physiotherapy and Exercise and Sport Science degrees at The University of Sydney. She has worked in private practice and elite sport, including professional Australian Rules. Stella relocated to the UK in 2019 to pursue a career in elite sport and has worked with Olympic sports at UKSI, most notably GB Hockey, and professional football in the Premier League.

Stella also has completed a Master in Veterinary Physiotherapy at The University of Liverpool and her experience extends to treating horses and riders of all disciplines, including professional eventers and racehorses.

Given her experience working with elite athletes in high performance environments, Stella’s philosophy is focused on providing quality and detailed rehabilitation and optimizing biomechanics with ultimate goal of maximising performance. Stella is trained in Clinical Pilates and uses these principles in her management of her athletes.

Lucy-Jones

Lucy Jones

Massage Therapist

Lucy has joined the practice as a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist while she finishes her degree in Sports Therapy. She has spent 8 months as an intern sports therapist with the Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey team, allowing her to develop her skills in acute and significant injury management in a unique environment.

After graduating, she is eager to become trauma certified and begin working within sport to support a variety of athletes while she evolves as a clinician. She is also trained in the use of myofascial dry cupping and IASTM and is keen to qualify in the delivery of dry needling to compliment her treatments where necessary.

Lucy has had her own experiences with injury and post-surgical rehabilitation, and as such is an empathetic and hardworking addition to the team, whose unique history has equipped her to help people recover better and become stronger.

 

Jennifer Ratcliff

Personal Trainer

Jennifer Ratcliff joined the Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice in 2024.

With her own business within the Heart of Banbury, Jenn offers over 6 years of personal training experience and Level 2 Ncfe Cache in Nutrition and Health ensuring the Physical fitness and performance is supported by the right nutrients for the tasks ahead.

Jenn offers additional qualifications in Kettlebells, enhanced core work, boxing fundamentals, advanced boxing and suspension training .

Esther Birch

Customer Services

We endeavour to help you with your health/sports issue as swiftly as possible.

Esther Birch joined the Banbury Private Physiotherapy Practice over two years ago after many years supporting a dental practice. Her experience with customer services shines with every client contact she takes.

Esther will listen to your needs and offer assistance to book you with the right clinician or manage your booking with us so that you have ease of access to the right clinician within the time frame required.

We chose Esther to be our Customer Service lead because she offers the practice an approachable, down to earth and practical solution to her work.
