Supporting Bone Cancer and Freddies future

freddies-future

We are simply honoured to once again support the Bone Cancer Trust supporting local runners entering marathons raising money for Freddies trust and Bone cancer.

This year we are supporting runners and Marcus Creagh will be attending the marathon offering his services for Sports Massage and advice free of charge.

This has been a year of helping those who may have bone cancer as a secondary complaint to a primary condition. One such client is learning to walk again after a total hip replacement replaced a tumor and with the innovation of science, technology and medical expertise - he will live life to the full once again.

May I highlight the dedication of the Bone Cancer Trust and those who have contacted the practice offering us support and applauding the work of my team. We are touched by their gratitude

For myself I applaud Marcus for giving his time, my clients for having faith in my practices, the runners and most importantly, Freddie for highlighting this just cause and continuing to be himself.

David is running the 2025 London Marathon and had this to say on Banbury Physiotherapys support:

A quick update on my upcoming attempt to complete the 2025 London Marathon. I will be running to support the Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) in particular for Freddies Future.

It hasn’t been the easiest of journeys, having picked up an Achilles Tendinitis injury at the end of November which prevented me from running for the first 10 weeks of my 16 week plan!

Not an uncommon injury for runners, but one that takes time to heal with Physiotherapy and various exercises.

I was however able to speed up the process with the help of the Banbury Physiotherapy who also support the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

Marcus at Banbury Physiotherapy offered a complimentary course of Modular Shockwave therapy along with a tailored exercise plan to get me back training as soon as possible.

A huge thank you to Marcus and the team at Banbury Physiotherapy Centre.
